Who We Are

"Books are medicine for the soul."
​The GetWell Book Drive provides new and used books to hospitals across Toronto. The books are sold to patients, visitors, and staff members, and are donated by students and teachers from a number of schools in the GTA. We offer a large variety of books suitable for all ages to those looking for a good read to pass the time, enlighten the mood, or give away as a present. Our book drive focuses on connecting school communities to hospital organizations to help bring joy to those in need of a good book.

How We Work

Representatives across the GTA hold individual book drives in their schools to collect books and donate them to hospitals. There, the books are sold in book sales where all proceeds go towards the hospital. We only collect books and deliver them to the hospitals, and we are not directly involved in the sale of the books by any means.
